The Great Escape
Do you know for an absolute fact where you will end up if you die today? There is no escaping death. You might have witnessed it at a burial service for someone else, but you know what? Death is going to come for you one day. What are you going to do about it?
The problem we call “death” is explained in the Bible. (Romans 5:12) tells us that through Adam’s sin, human race started dying because “all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” (Romans 3:23).Guess what? The price or the wages for sin is death (Romans 6: 23). In other words, the sin in you demands your death whether you like it or not. And it gets worse.
The death that we see all around us is just the separation of the spirit from the body. However, there is a far worse death seen in the Bible; eternal separation of our spirit from God.
You see, when we die, our spirit moves on to its eternal resting place. Whether that place is with God in heaven eternally or in absolute separation from God in Hell eternally depends on the choices you make while you are still alive here on planet Earth.
The entry to heaven is issued on this side of the border. Once you die without it and cross over, there is no option to get it. You are truly dead then.
There is a solution. His name is Jesus. Bible tells us in John 3:16 that “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life”.
Though Jesus was God, he became human, obediently humbled himself even further by dying a criminal’s death on a cross. He died for us that we might live. The wages of sin was voluntarily paid by Jesus Christ.
Because Jesus was born without sin, and no sin was found in him, the second death could not hold him. He therefore rose again (Philippians 2:6-10), and made a way for us to rise again and escape from the second eternal death in Hell. This is eternal salvation.
Remember, nothing can save you from your first death, but you can make sure that you do not spent your whole life in hell forever.
Do you know where you will be eternally if you die today? Jesus said “Come unto me all who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matt 11;28). There is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). Jesus is the answer. Only he can save you.
ARE YOU READY FOR JESUS? DO YOU WANT ETERNAL SALVATION? Then take some moments to repent of the sin you are involved in and responsible for. Then say the following short prayer asking forgiveness from God and invite Jesus to come and reside with you.
“Father God, I’ve broken Your laws, therefore my sins have separated us. I am truly sorry. I now want to turn away from my sinful ways. Please forgive me and accept me as Your child. I believe that Your Son Jesus Christ died for my sins, was raised from the dead, is now alive. I accept and invite Jesus to become Lord and Savior of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send Your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”

மகத்தான தப்பியோடல்
இன்று நீ மரித்தால் எங்கே சென்றடைவாய் என்பதைக் குறித்த முழு உண்மையை அறிவாயா? நீ மரணத்திலிருந்து தப்பியோட முடியாது. இன்னொரு நபரினது மரண ஆராதனையில் இதை நீ சாட்சியிடலாம், ஆனால் ஒன்றுதெரியுமா? ஒருநாள் உனக்கும் மரணம் நேரிடப்போகின்றது. அதைக்குறித்து நீ என்ன செய்யப் போகின்றாய்?
நாம் ‘மரணம்’ என்று அழைக்கின்ற பிரச்சனையைக் குறித்து வேதாகமம் தெளிவுபடுத்துகின்றது. (ரோமர் 5:12) ஆதாமின் பாவத்தின் காரணமாக, ‘எல்லாரும் பாவம்செய்து தேவ மகிமையற்றவர்களாகிய’ (ரோமர் 3:23) காரணத்தினால் மனிதவர்க்கமானது மரணித்துக்கொண்டிருக்கின்றது. அது என்ன? பாவத்தின் கூலி மரணமாகும். (ரோமர் 6:23) இன்னொரு வார்த்தையில் கூறினால், நீ விரும்பினாலும் விரும்பாவிட்டாலும், உனக்குள் இருக்கின்ற பாவம், உனது மரணத்தை கட்டாயப்படுத்தி படுமோசமான நிலைக்குள் தள்ளிவிட்டுள்ளது.
எம்மைச் சுற்றிலும் ஏற்படுகின்ற மரணம் என்பது சரீரத்திலிருந்து ஆவி வேறுபிரிக்கப்படுவதாகும். எவ்வாறாயினும், வேதாகமம் இன்னும் மோசமானதாக மரணத்தைக் காண்கிறது. அது தேவனிடமிருந்து எமது ஆவி நித்தியமாக வேறுபிரிக்கப்படுவதாகும்.
பாருங்கள், நாம் மரிக்கும்போது, எமது ஆவியானது நித்திய இளைபாறும் இடத்திற்கு கடந்துசெல்கின்றது. அந்த இடமானது, பரலோகத்திலுள்ள தேவன் இருக்கும் இடத்திற்கு அல்லது தேவனைவிட்டு வேறுபிரிக்கப்பட்டுள்ள நரகம் என்ற இடத்திற்கு இந்த பூமி என்ற கிரகத்திலே வாழும் எமது வாழ்க்கையில் எடுத்த தெரிவின்படி, நமது ஆவி கடந்து செல்லும்.
இருபக்க எல்லை உதவியோடு பரலோகத்திற்குள் நுழையலாம். இதில்லாவிடில் எல்லை தாண்டியதும் நீ மரித்துவிடுவாய். வேறு வழியெதுவும் இல்லை. அப்போது நீ உண்மையிலேயே மரித்தவனாவாய்.
இதற்கொரு தீர்வு உண்டு. அவரது நாமம் இயேசு. யோவான் 3:16ல் வேதாகமம் கூறுகின்றது, ‘தேவன், தம்முடைய ஒரேபேறான குமாரனை விசுவாசிக்கிறவன் எவனோ அவன் கெட்டுப்போகாமல் நித்தியஜீவனை அடையும்படிக்கு, அவரைத் தந்தருளி, இவ்வளவாய் உலகத்தில் அன்புகூர்ந்தார்.’
தேவன் இயேசுவுக்கூடாக வந்தார். அவர் மனிதனானார். அவர் உண்மையிலேயே தம்மைத்தாமே தாழ்த்தியவராக ஒரு குற்றவாளி மரிப்பதுபோல சிலுவையில் மரித்தார். நாம் வாழும்படிக்கு அவர் மரித்தார். இயேசு கிறிஸ்துவினாலேயே பாவத்தின் கூலி செலுத்தப்பட்டது. காரணம் இயேசு பாவமில்லாதவராக பிறந்தார். அவரிடத்தில் பாவம் காணப்படவுமில்லை. இரண்டாம் மரணம் அவரை பற்றிக்கொள்ள முடியாது. ஆகவே அவர் மறுபடியும் உயிர்த்தெழுந்தார் (பிலிப்பியர் 2:6-10). இரண்டாம் நித்திய மரணமாகிய நரகத்திலிருந்து நாம் உயிர்த்தெழும்பும்படியான ஒரு மார்க்கத்தை ஏற்படுத்தினார். இதுவே நித்திய இரட்சிப்பாகும்.
முதலாம் மரணத்திலிருந்து எதுவும் உங்களைக் காப்பாற்ற முடியாது. எனினும் உங்கள் முழு வாழ்க்கையை இனி நரகத்தில் என்றென்றும் கழிக்கவேண்டியதில்லை என்பதை ஞாபகத்தில் வைத்திருங்கள்.
இன்று நீ மரித்தால், நீ நித்தியமாக எங்கிருப்பாய் என அறிவாயா? இயேசு கூறினார், ‘வருத்தப்பட்டுப் பாரஞ்சுமக்கிறவர்களே! நீங்கள் எல்லாரும் என்னிடத்தில் வாருங்கள்; நான் உங்களுக்கு இளைப்பாறுதல் தருவேன்.’ (மத்தேயு 11:28). கிறிஸ்து இயேசுவை சேர்ந்தவர்களுக்கு இனியும் ஆக்கினைத் தீர்ப்பில்லை (ரோமர் 8:1). இயேசு ஒருவரே பதிலாக இருக்கின்றார். அவர் ஒருவரே உன்னை இரட்சிக்கமுடியும்.
இயேசு சந்திக்க ஆயத்தமா? நித்திய இரட்சிப்பு உனக்குத் தேவையா? அப்படியானால், நீ ஈடுபட்டுள்ள பாவத்திலிருந்து, உத்தரவாதங்களிலிருந்து மனந்திரும்ப ஒருசில நிமிடங்களைச் செலவிடுவாயா. அப்படியானால், தேவனிடமிருந்து மன்னிப்பைப் பெற்றுக்கொள்ள இச் சிறு ஜெபத்தை ஏறெடுத்து இயேசு உனக்குள் வாசம்செய்யும்படியாக அவரை அழைப்பாயா.
“அப்பா பிதாவே, நான் உமது நியமங்களை உடைத்துவிட்டேன். ஆகவே எனது பாவம் எம்மை பிரித்துவிட்டது. அதற்காக உண்மையாகவே வருந்துகின்றேன். எனது பாவ வழிகளிலிருந்து இப்பொழுதே நான் திரும்புகின்றேன். என்னை தயவுசெய்து மன்னித்து உமது பிள்ளையாக ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளும். எனது பாவத்திற்காக உமது குமாரனாகிய இயேசு கிறிஸ்து மரித்தார் என்றும் மரணத்திலிருந்து உயிர்த்தெழுந்து இப்பொழுதும் ஜீவிக்கின்றார் என்றும் நம்புகின்றேன். எனது வாழ்க்கையின் இரட்சகராகவும் ஆண்டவராகவும் இயேசுவை ஏற்றுக்கொள்கின்றேன். இன்றிலிருந்து எனது வாழ்வை என்றென்றும் ஆளுகை செய்யும்படியாக அவரை அழைக்கின்றேன். எஞ்சியுள்ள என் வாழ்க்கையில், இனி நான் உமக்கு கீழ்ப்படியவும் உமது சித்தத்தை செய்யவும் தயவுசெய்து பரிசுத்த ஆவியானவரை அனுப்ப உதவிசெய்தருளும். இயேசுவின் நாமத்தில் ஜெபிக்கின்றேன். ஆமென்”
